So... Instead of freelance distracting me for a few months, I got to work on a game at a small studio here... and it got on Steam Greenlight AND it got greenlit!! ☆*:.｡.o(≧▽≦)o.｡.:*☆
Though I have technically worked on games and other commercial projects before, this one was much more satisfying because it was the kind of setting I always wanted to work in- very small team where I got a ton of creative autonomy. It was really frustrating at times because I had to teach myself animation, a new program, and how to work with a new team but that made it WAY more satisfying than many projects I've worked on.
I'll be posting that work here soon, once the game is released! Thanks again for following me through all my mishaps.
