When reading the title I tought you were norwegian hehe. This is my favorite page I think. just using the speech bubbles to express is genious. and love the look from inside the bottle too. powerful storytelling

Thank you! This comic has an original title that is a more personal phrase written in the symbols you see on the bottle... but since I can't put that on Deviantart I just asked my (norwegian) boyfriend what 'bottle' was in his language.

Someday I hope to publish it with its original unintelligible title, which will mean something different to each reader.

I hate to ask this, and some artists really hate describing their work, and if you do, that's totally fine. But although I have a vague idea of what the story is, its a bit confusing to me. So, he's trying to bring to life his old love, he finds the water of life, but it's really a woman, so he tries to recreate the water...? But the blonde girl cannot come out of the bottle without dying, but then, she sacrifices herself for him...wich makes his old love appear in the bottle now.

Guilt, basically. He thought he would do anything to bring her back to life, but he didn't expect falling in love with someone else and watching that person die. He didn't want that person's sacrifice to go to waste so he brought his old love back but can't face her now.
