No Rings, No Bodies

Set out to make an illustration about ghosts, ended up with a tree that eats people. It's part of the ecosystem of fantastic swamp life: Will o' wisps lead victims to the tree so they will be devoured. Creatures like gnottagnomes (little guys on the sides) and the will o' wisp wrangler (sitting on top) have a mutual relationship with the tree. It provides them with energy and a home while they raise more will o' wisps for catching more victims.
